BIG PHASE 5 at SK LINGGA BARU TAMPARULI
Yesterday, we have done our benchmarking (BIG Phase 5) at SK Lingga Baru Tamparuli. The school was truly amazing and it is located out of the town. The school enrollment is only 59 pupils. This school won an award 'Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi (2014)' from the Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia. In Sabah, there are only two schools got this award, SK Sri Gaya, Kota Kinabalu and SK Lingga Baru Tamparuli.
About 31 of us including lecturers went to the school. We departed from our campus at 5.30am and reached Pekan Tamparuli at 9.00am. The journey from pekan to SK Lingga Baru took about 45 minutes. The road is half gravel and half tar.
The road to the school. The school is located on top of the hills.
Inside the blue container, there are books for the pupils to read during their free time.
The long list on the brochure is the award the school won.
Amazing performance done by the pupils of SK Lingga Baru Tamparuli.

UPDATES!
It's been awhile we did not update our blog! Busy busy busy... Busy with our assignments! TONS of assignments ...! We have completed anyway. Ohya!! 1 more assignment to go! Bahasa Melayu Komunikatif is due this saturday! All the best guys!
Anyway, just want to let you readers out there to know that we have new student.
His name is Nur Akmal. He is from Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Bahasa Antarabangsa. Our TESL Family is expanding. And... We are not 'super-juniors' in the TESL Family anymore! Because the juniors just came in for their foundation.
MISSION ACCOMPLISH:
- We have done our second School Based Experience. Gained a lot of new knowledge.
- We have just finished our Literasi Bahasa Exhibition. It was really tiring to complete all of the teaching aids but it is really worth! Because there are many things that we get to learn such as how to create teaching aids and how it helps students to learn better in a fun way.
